Week 37 Review-37 Year Life Celebration

This week marked my 37th anniversary and life celeration, commonly known as a “birthday”.  Here are a few pictures

I spent most of the week considering what two task I would take on for the upcoming year, and settled on the following goals:

  1. Intermittent Fasting

    1. I never really took the time to consider that my weight gain (12lbs) might be due to the time and type of food I consumed.  So while sitting in the bed with my partner who actually took some time to do the research on Intermittent Fasting we decided to give it a try.  Keep in mind abstaining from eating from 8pm to 12pm the next day takes some life adjustments, but so far I haven’t really noticed much in the way of craving after what we have termed in the house as ” The Blackout” period

  2. Fitness Education & Tools

    1. Defining what level of physical fitness I am currently at vs what level of physical fitness I want to be by September 08 2016.  I have studied for the NASM Personal Trainer certification but after being forced to leave the school I simply have not cracked open a book.
    2. Surprised this week with new technology that will assist me in my fitness journey.  I am the proud owner of a new Apple Watch Sport in black.  When I took it out the box I figured I have small writs it would fit as is straight out of the box, but you I am very happy I kept the medium/large band option.  Last 48 hours with the watch has been really allot of fun.  I spent about 2 hours actually setting up all the notifications and decided to take it along for my weekend walk.  Did my 3.70 mile walk this Saturday and killed a 3.19 mile walk this sunday

DFB40’s all my paperwork and training is finally complete, so we now embark on the longest part of the debt free by 40 (DFB40) journey, but before I move along to quickly let me bring you up to speed on my progress.  All the numbers are in and were looking at digging out of $74,000 worth of debt in the next 5 years.  As Dave Ramsey would say “debt free except for the house” and if I did not post it before I am putting Dave’s Money Makeover to the test in digging myself out of debt.  So now I embark on working two jobs full time for the next 5 years. Personal time will be limited but I made a public announcement to keep myself accountable and to make sure I keep accurate journal for me to look back on how far I have come.  Talk to you guys next week have a great weekend.

Speed Stick Fresh Force-48 Hour Test

Gear-Fresh-Force-
Gear-Fresh-Force-

So it’s been 48 hours since I started testing Speed Sticks Fresh Force, and I have noted a few things I wanted readers to know if they are considering buying this product.  A little background on what I normally wear to ward off  under arm wetness.  I sweat heavenly and find myself often reapplying antiperspirants during the day.  I have tried Degree, Mitchum and other pricey antiperspirants to help with the wetness.  Well now that we have gotten that out-of-the-way let me share with my readers what I have noticed in wearing Speed Stick Fresh Force.

  • Low Residue– I hate when a antiperspirants leaves white lines on your t-shirt or undershirt if you put it on first.  I tested this product this morning wearing a black undershirt and though it still left under arm marks, it was minimal.
  • Shower proof- I noticed when I showered this product caused the water to bead under my arms and it did not rinse off as clean as I would have liked. I guess this should be considered a pro, but for me when I shower I want the product off my skin.  Con in my opinion!
  • Scent- The scent is clean, masculine and does not interfere with my cologne during the day.  In comparison, Degree heat’s up and once it’s heat activated, it always stronger than my cologne.

Overall I would recommend this product to my friends and family without hesitation.  Going to the gym this product will keep you dry despite how much you sweat.  Thanks again to Speed Stick and Influenster for allowing me to check the product.
